Product Description
Copper-phosphorus brazing alloys are self-fluxing brazing materials with moderate melting points and excellent fluidity. They are widely used for the brazing of copper and copper-alloy components in industries such as refrigeration, motors, and instrumentation. Thanks to the self-fluxing action of phosphorus, when brazing copper with copper-phosphorus or copper-phosphorus-silver alloys, no additional flux is required. However, when brazing brass or bronze, it is necessary to use a flux in conjunction with these alloys. The brazing methods that can be employed include flame brazing, furnace brazing, induction brazing, and resistance brazing.
