On June 16, 2021, all employees of Xinhe Technology gathered beneath the flagpole in the company’s plaza to solemnly launch the series of events themed “I Add Vitality to Xinhe—Uniting Our Strengths for a New Beginning.” Zhang Licheng, Chairman of the Board and General Manager of the company, delivered a speech and officially announced the start of the series of events. Chen Yijun, Assistant to the General Manager, read out the company’s document outlining the implementation of the “New Beginning” themed series of activities. Immediately following the ceremony, the company held its first-ever employee tug-of-war competition—a key component of the series—which set an enthusiastic and lively atmosphere for the entire event.

This October, Zhejiang Xinhua Technology Co., Ltd. will reach a historic milestone—marking its 10th anniversary since its establishment. Tracing back to Xinhua’s origins, the company has already embarked on a 23-year entrepreneurial journey. Whether it’s 10 years or 23 years, in the grand sweep of history, these periods are but a tiny speck in the vast ocean. Yet for a company’s development, such a span is far from brief; the journey itself is anything but simple. It’s truly worth taking a serious look back, carefully examining, reflecting upon, and summarizing our experiences—to build on our successes, learn from our mistakes, carry forward our legacy, and forge ahead into the future. Whether it’s 10 years or 23 years, in the cutthroat business world where the average enterprise lifespan falls short of four years, Xinhua Technology’s journey of entrepreneurship, growth, and development resembles an epic saga, filled with soaring, rousing notes, stirring melodies, and deeply moving narratives. As every Xinhua colleague, each of us has been both a witness and an active participant in this remarkable story. Whether it’s 10 years or 23 years, for a company that remains true to its original aspirations and steadfastly embraces its mission, these milestones represent merely a starting point, a stage, a refueling stop, or a fresh beginning in its ongoing development. It’s often said that maintaining a business is even harder than starting one—and especially so today, when Xinhua Technology finds itself like a ship sailing upstream: if it doesn’t move forward, it’ll be pushed backward. Faced with numerous developmental bottlenecks and challenges, to keep the company riding the waves and setting sail toward a brighter future, we must continually adjust our course, inject fresh energy, unite our forces, overcome obstacles, conquer hurdles, and persist in our relentless efforts—unafraid of the turbulent seas ahead, ready to “repack and set off again.” Adapting to the new situation, the company has decided to launch a series of activities under the theme “I Add Vitality to Xinhua, Unite Our Strengths and Set Off Again.” Taking the occasion of the company’s 10th anniversary and its 23rd year of entrepreneurship, these activities will vigorously promote the spirit of hard work and entrepreneurship, guide the cultivation of Xinhua’s corporate culture, fully unleash individual talents and wisdom, and continuously strengthen our collective team spirit. Centered around the themes of “innovation, quality, cost reduction, and service,” the activities aim to break through the company’s developmental bottlenecks. By engaging everyone in the process, we’ll add vitality to our development and unite our strengths to make a fresh start. For now, the activities will be organized in six-month phases (quarters). Preparatory work will be completed by the end of May, and the first quarter of activities will officially kick off from June to December.
